Adamson Powers D-Block Europe’s PTSD2 Arena Tour
Delivering modern hip-hop in arena environments presents a unique set of challenges, requiring powerful low-frequency reproduction alongside clear, intelligible vocals across large and varied venues.
To meet these demands, the tour deployed an Adamson system supplied by Clair Global, built around the VGT line array platform. Known for its high output and precision, the system provided the scalability and control required for arena touring.
The setup included:
- 74 × VGt
- 44 × VGs
- 8 × CS7P
- 4 × CS10P
- 1 × Gateway
On Stage
- MG10
- CS118
- CS119
Production Crew
- Raphael Williams – FOH Engineer
- Morgan Moore – Monitor Engineer
- Femi Bello – Production
- Aaron Boothe – Systems Engineer
"It was great to take VGT out on the road for the first time. Being a system engineer for a system you’ve never used before—especially when the FOH engineer has also never used it—can be pretty nerve‑racking. We had no production rehearsal to even get a feel for it; it was straight into the deep end. The moment I put the system up and turned it on, I knew everything was going to be okay. It’s pure quality. I’m really impressed with the VGT system. It’s a game changer.” said Aaron Boothe, systems engineer.
With Adamson’s VGT platform delivering consistent coverage and high output throughout the tour, D-Block Europe’s PTSD2 run brought arena-scale energy to audiences across the UK and Ireland.
