TT+ Audio has delivered a high-performance sound system at Grand Stade de Tanger, one of Morocco’s key football venues, following a major renovation ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 FIFA World Cup. With a capacity of over 75,000, the system was designed to meet strict performance criteria for sound pressure level and speech intelligibility across the entire stadium. The installation features 16 main flown arrays, each comprising 12 TT+ Audio GTX 10i modules, deployed under the stadium roof to provide consistent long-throw coverage. Each array is supported by two rear-mounted HL 38-S WP subwoofers, delivering controlled low-frequency reinforcement throughout the bowl. Additional coverage for under-balcony and lower-tier seating areas is provided by 96 RCF P 4228 and 36 RCF COMPACT C 45 WP loudspeakers, ensuring even distribution across all listening zones. Power and processing are provided by 55 RCF XPS 16KD DSP amplifiers, with system control via RDNet and audio distribution over Dante networks, ensuring reliable operation with built-in redundancy for both emergency and entertainment use. Despite the challenges of the stadium’s architectural design, including restricted rigging access, the system achieves clear, consistent coverage throughout.
