CREATE Leeds is a new CREATE Britain regional ecosystem, designed to ensure that everyone and everything creative in Leeds can be easily found and connected. With 95% of creatives working independently or in micro-businesses, and most creative projects delivered in less than three months - we are always in danger of ‘muddling through’ when we should be growing businesses and launching careers.  

As local authorities slash their culture budgets, CREATE Britain is launching FREE regional hubs all over the country to provide index-based hyper-relevant search for finding talent, businesses, training, jobs, events, and creative spaces. They are just getting started, but already working with 90+ colleges and universities, professionals at every level, trade organisations, creative communities and advising the industry centrally on skills liquidity.  

Co-founder Richard Woods will highlight the systemic problems they are already solving, offer a peep behind the platform's development curtain and share their (stupidly) ambitious plans to disrupt!
