Time for an Upgrade: The Processes & Challenges of Enhancing Your Lighting Rig

Following on from ‘The Light Path Towards Sustainability' seminar at last year’s PLASA Focus, the White Light (WL) team are presenting a brand-new discussion, focusing specifically on the processes behind upgrading in-house lighting equipment and the challenges that may come with this. 

Drawing on their experience, expertise and status as a B Corp, WL will give an insight into what it entails to enhance a lighting rig and the different stages behind this. They will discuss the reasons why a venue may want to upgrade, the various steps they can take to pursue this and how an organisation like WL can offer support and guidance at every stage. 

The panel discussion will be led by WL’s Jonathan Haynes and Stuart Porter, both of whom have vast experience overseeing venues’ upgrades. There will also be guest speakers from venues who are at different stages of their upgrade process, allowing attendees a clear insight into what is involved and the impact this is having. 

The session aims to offer clear and practical ways in which a lighting upgrade could take place; offering a complete overview of the various ways in which this can be achieved.
