BS 7671 - The Fourth Amendment: A Hassle, Or A Help?
In this session James explores the newly published changes within Amendment 4 to BS 7671 (the ‘wiring regs’) which has several updates affecting our industry.
Whether you work in AV installations, temporary power, theatre or live events there is something for everyone. Changes to stationary battery installations, protective bonding and earthing for data systems and requirements for power-over-ethernet (PoE) installations are some of the topics that will be discussed.
Also if it hits the shelves in time, James will also cover the significant changes to BS 7430 (the Code of Practice for Earthing) which will be relevant to anyone who uses battery inverters, generators or gets involved in venue design or refurbishments.
