Step inside the sound: Audio demo rooms return to PLASA Focus Leeds 2026
Visitors to PLASA Focus Leeds 2026 will once again have the opportunity to experience professional audio systems as they’re meant to be heard — live, in dedicated demo environments.
Taking place on 12–13 May at the Royal Armouries, this year’s show will feature two immersive audio demo spaces from leading manufacturers KV2 Audio and EM Acoustics — both operating on a walk-in basis, with no booking required.
Designed for sound designers, engineers, production professionals and installers, these sessions offer a rare chance to move beyond spec sheets and experience systems in realistic listening conditions.
KV2 Audio returns to the Bury Theatre
KV2 Audio will once again take over the Royal Armouries’ on-site Bury Theatre, transforming it into a theatre-style listening space for the duration of the show.
Visitors can expect demonstrations of KV2’s True Point Source loudspeaker technology, including the ES and ESR systems, alongside active EX and passive ESD series products. Designed for applications ranging from theatres and live events to nightclubs and large-scale venues, KV2 systems are known for their clarity, precision and consistent coverage.
With installations spanning globally recognised venues such as Ministry of Sound and Ibiza’s Amnesia, KV2 continues to demonstrate its capability across demanding, real-world environments.
Attendees are also invited to visit Stand R-C01, where the KV2 team will be on hand to discuss product innovations and system design approaches.

EM Acoustics showcases compact power and precision
In the Arthur Room, EM Acoustics will present a series of focused demonstrations highlighting the performance of its compact loudspeaker systems.
The sessions will feature the Reference Series R4 and R6, alongside the new CS15 passive cardioid subwoofer, plus preview models including a 5-inch soft dome installation speaker and the S8i 8” installation subwoofer.
Used across both live productions and installed environments — from West End shows like Oliver! and The Greatest Showman to venues including Glyndebourne Opera House and Royal Lyceum Theatre — the R4 and R6 deliver beautifully balanced sound with impressive clarity and control, even in demanding applications.
These demonstrations offer a closer look at how high-performance audio can be achieved from compact enclosures, making them particularly relevant for designers and installers working across a wide range of spaces.

Open to all — just walk in and listen
Both demo rooms will run throughout the show, with sessions continuing across both days.
There’s no need to book — simply walk in, take a seat, and experience the systems for yourself.
As part of a wider show featuring over 150 brands, hands-on technology, and a welcoming, highly approachable atmosphere, the audio demo rooms are a key highlight for anyone working in sound.
