Miranda is the Technical Trainer at Factory International, where she works as part of the Factory Academy team delivering practical training that prepares people for careers in the live events and creative industries. Her work focuses on introducing learners to core backstage and production skills, helping them build confidence, technical knowledge and an understanding of how large-scale creative environments operate.

Through her role, Miranda works with a wide range of participants, many of whom are taking their first steps into the industry. She is particularly interested in creating accessible pathways into creative careers, supporting those who may not have followed traditional education routes and helping people recognise the value of their own skills and potential within the industry.

Alongside her work at Factory International, Miranda is the founder of Dare to Know Theatre - a working class community focused theatre company supporting emerging performers and creatives, with a particular interest in collaborative storytelling and community-led theatre.
