Rob Baldock
Rob is a senior lecturer and course leader for the BSc and FdSc Event Production degrees at Nottingham Trent University under the School of Art & Design.
For more than a decade he has guided students through their academic and professional journeys. Seeing graduates thrive in the live events industry remains the most rewarding part of his role.
Before moving into higher education leadership, Rob led FE Music Technology courses, shaping clear pathways for aspiring audio professionals.
Alongside his academic work, Rob runs "re:live recordings", a mobile studio dedicated to capturing live gigs and events. His concert and session credits span One Direction, The Shires, Chase & Status, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, Labrinth, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Sub Focus, and more, with projects delivered for live albums, broadcast, and online platforms. He has recorded in venues from the O2 Arena, Brixton Academy, The Roundhouse in Camden and London Palladium to major regional theatres.
