Robin has over 30 years’ experience in the Arts and Entertainment industry and has taught technical and production practice at various levels. The ABTT exists to promote technical excellence in live performance and produces a Code of Practice for the Theatre Industry in the UK. Robin has worked as a Stage Electrician, Lighting Hire Client Contact, Lecturer in Performance Technology, Technical Director, Building Director and Theatre Consultant. He has delivered new-build capital projects for The Junction, Cambridge; The Jerwood DanceHouse, Ipswich and Rambert on the South Bank in London. Robin served as a founding member of the ABTT Training and Education Committee, a Trustee of the ABTT and as Honorary Secretary. He is a member of the Standing Committee for Technical Standards for Places of Entertainment.
